Economic Development
Ohio used to be an economic powerhouse. Sadly, over time as industries have shifted many residents rely on dual incomes, side jobs, and government assistance in order to get by. We must find ways for residents to earn a living in our state.
Ohio is lacking a means of long-term prosperity. The manufacturing industry was once the lifeblood of our district. Now, we must do what we can to incentivize in-state manufacturing as well as support the industries that have filled the economic gap in recent years.

Our manufacturing industry, while growing in recent years, needs continued support.
Geneva-on-the-Lake is at ends with our local government. We need to be on the same page for our district's sake.
Unions need support.
Goals
Reduce costs of opening
Support prevailing wage legislature, oppose "Right to Work" bills.
I've identified three main industries that are critical to Northeast Ohio's long-term success. They are:
Manufacturing: It's no secret that the manufacturing industry in Northeast Ohio is a shell of its former self. We still have factories that are abandoned and need to find ways to incentivize manufacturers to return to our district and reclaim our once bustling industrial areas.
Trade Work: Whether it's our local trades or our first responders, union labor is a pillar of economic activity for our district. Not only do our trades improve the quality-of-life for everyone here, many families rely on these jobs.
Travel & Hospitality / Restaurants: Ashtabula's Bridge Street is currently experiencing a rennaisance moment. I'd like to do what I can to continue to encourage entrepreneurs from Cleveland and abroad to open their doors here. I also plan to do what I can to support tourism and business owners at Geneva-On-The-Lake and
